Terms of Use and Sale
Last updated: Aug 4, 2026
These terms govern the use of T-Drop. By creating an account, you accept them. Please read them carefully.
1. Service publisher
T-Drop is published by a natural person established in Cameroon, operating the service on an individual basis. In line with the option available to non-professional publishers, their identity is not published on the site: the details identifying them are held by the host and are disclosed upon request from a judicial or supervisory authority.
Publisher contact, for any question, legal information request, content report or claim: contact@tdrop.org. Every request sent to this address is handled directly by the publisher.
Website host: Netlify, Inc., 101 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, United States.
Data host (database, authentication, files): Supabase PTE. LTD., 65 Chulia Street #38-02/03, OCBC Centre, Singapore 049513. Data is stored in the European Union, in Ireland.
2. Definitions
- Traveler: a user offering to carry parcels along a trip.
- Sender: a user who wants a parcel carried.
- Forwarder: a verified professional who takes responsibility for trips and carries parcels.
- Platform: the T-Drop matching service.
3. Role of the platform
T-Drop is a technical intermediary for matching, mediated by verified forwarders. T-Drop is neither a carrier, nor a freight forwarder, nor a party to the transport contract concluded between users and the forwarder. The transport itself is the forwarder’s responsibility.
4. Account and verification
Creating an account requires a valid email address and acceptance of these terms. Identity verification may be required before certain actions. You are responsible for the accuracy of your information and the confidentiality of your credentials.
5. Business model and payments
Forwarder promotion (sponsorship) is the only service T-Drop offers in its own name. It grants a badge and display priority; it never hides a cheaper option and confers no security advantage.
During the launch phase, promotion is granted free of charge: no payment is required and no amount is collected by T-Drop. Any move to paid promotion will be announced in advance to the forwarders concerned and reflected in an updated version of these terms; until then, the prices shown in the forwarder area are indicative.
Payment for transport is made directly between the sender and the forwarder, OFF-platform. Likewise, the price of merchandise (cart validation) is negotiated between the client and the forwarder and paid off-platform. T-Drop neither collects nor holds these amounts.
6. User obligations
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information.
- Only carry or ship lawful goods; prohibited, dangerous or illegal items are forbidden.
- Comply with applicable laws, including customs, in the countries of origin, transit and destination.
- Not misuse the platform (fraud, impersonation, circumventing verification).
7. Liability
T-Drop provides a matching service “as is” and does not guarantee the proper performance of transport, which is the responsibility of the users and the forwarder. To the extent permitted by law, T-Drop cannot be held liable for damages related to transport, parcel contents, or relationships between users.
Where T-Drop is liable, that liability is limited to direct and foreseeable damages resulting from a breach attributable to it. As the service is free for senders and travelers alike, any compensation may not exceed the amounts the user concerned actually paid to T-Drop during the twelve months preceding the triggering event.
None of these limitations applies in case of gross negligence or wilful misconduct, personal injury, or where the law sets them aside.
8. Disputes between users
In case of a transport-related dispute, a file may be assembled to preserve the relevant elements (in line with our privacy policy). T-Drop may facilitate mediation without substituting for the parties or guaranteeing an outcome.
9. Personal data
The processing of your data is described in our privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.
10. Intellectual property
The platform, its brand and its content are protected. Any unauthorised reproduction is prohibited.
11. Suspension and termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account in case of breach of these terms or unlawful activity.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Cameroonian law, without prejudice to more protective mandatory provisions of the consumer’s country of habitual residence.
In case of a disagreement, please write to contact@tdrop.org so that we can seek an amicable solution. Failing agreement, the dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the Cameroonian courts; a consumer residing in the European Union retains the right to bring proceedings before the courts of their place of residence.
13. Changes
We may amend these terms. The last-updated date appears at the top of the page; continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the version in force.
